Grant Farms CSA and Whole Foods Partner To Bring Community Agriculture To Stores Across The Front Range
June 14, 2016
Ft. Collins, Colo. – “Who’s your farmer?” Through a renewed partnership with grocery chain Whole Foods Market, Grant Farms Community Supported Agriculture hopes to answer that question all across the Front Range of Colorado with expanded CSA-share pick-up zones. Building on their long-standing relationship with the grocery chain, Grant Farms will partner with Whole Foods Market to use the produce sections at a number of locations as pick-up stations for CSA share drop-offs.
Following a May announcement, a 3-year corporate struggle comes to a close with the complete restructuring of Grant Farms CSA. After weathering a whirlwind of outside investors and financial instability, Grant Farms has once again begun to supply employees and customers of Whole Foods Market with a convenient drop-off location for their CSA shares. In addition, included in each share will be a ‘shopping list’ of Whole Foods Market items to compliment the produce included in each box, providing an opportunity for CSA members to purchase the right ingredients for healthy, delicious meals.
Grant Farms is proud to partner with Whole Foods Market to provide Certified Organic heirloom and specialty crops to the Front Range of Colorado. As of this year, CSA members will be able to pick up their boxes with the grocery retailer, and shop for specialty and heirloom crops while they do so.
